@mecscomms is hiring for a remote based- home working, Cloud Services Project Manager to work for a global Technology, Telecoms & Cloud managed IT service provider. The project manager will successfully deliver client engagements, acting as the primary contact from the point of sale through to design, planning, delivery, service transition & project closure. This will include guiding multiple enterprise, mid-tier & public sector customers through the cloud landscape to ensure they realise a level of cloud maturity. If you have expertise in the deployment & rollout of largescale AWS or Microsoft Azure cloud migrations within an Agile or Waterfall framework, I'm keen to hear from you.

Position: Project Manager, Service Delivery Manager, Deployment / Implementation Manager

Purpose: Project manage the delivery & implementation of the cloud service engagements into multiple customer accounts whilst acting as a dedicated customer champion & high-level account manager

Location: Work from home – remote working - anywhere UK

Hours: Monday to Friday 09.00 – 17.30

Duration: Permanent, full time

Salary: £60,000 - £65,000 basic + benefits

Manage the successful delivery of client engagements, acting as the primary customer contact from the point of sale through to design, planning, delivery, service transition & project closure.

Utilising Waterfall & Agile Project Management methodologies & tools, the role will manage complex, multi-faceted projects, using industry best practice to manage, control & deliver successful projects to time, cost & quality constraints, whilst acting as a customer guardian to advise, reassure & steer them through the project planning, delivery approach & implementation process.

The Cloud Services Product manager will champion high quality standards & suggest improvements to internal processes & practice to ensure a positive perception of the project management function

Strong client relationships are paramount, & the successful candidate will need to demonstrate a high level of maturity & commercial acumen. Communications & documentation must be authoritative, precise, timely & credible. The successful candidate will be flexible & responsive to issues yet attuned to the agreed scope of work.

Central to the role will be the contribution to define critical delivery paths, work with the professional services community to ensure you have the right resources to deliver the project. You will participate in the creation, review & approvals of, Statements of Work, Project plans, project deliverable artifacts & on-going project governance & reporting to internal & customer stakeholders.

Candidate Profile:

Candidates must have Cloud Services Project Management experience, ideally gained within a IT Technology, Cloud, Telco, ISP, Managed Hosting or similar type of technology managed services provider, whereby your experience is likely to include some of the following:

• Familiarity with the Cloud Services portfolio - AWS & Azure Public Cloud

• Microsoft Modern Workplace & Security solutions – M365, UC, Teams etc

• Agile, Waterfall or similar hybrid project frameworks

• Practitioner level qualification a Project Management methodology

• Working in a consultancy environment

• Running stand-ups & scrums to prioritise deliverables & backlogs

• Deadline & deliverable-oriented environments

• Influencing customers through a confident, credible & authoritative demeanour

• Implementing change, both technical & commercial

• Best practice & governance / controls

• Diplomatic relationship builder

• Reporting on complex project budgets & comfortable managing commercial negotiations

• Commercial acumen but balanced with strong customer focus & empathy

• Manage numerous concurrent workstreams & adept at managing conflicting priorities
