@mecscomms is currently recruiting for a customer order project coordinator to work for a global telecoms carrier and network provider in Newbury, Berkshire, UK. This is a 12 month rolling contract assignment. Position: Order Creation Analyst, Provisioning Administrator, Change Request Administrator, Network Change Project Coordination


Location: Newbury, Berkshire (RG14)


Hours:  Monday – Friday (09.00 - 17.30)


Duration: 12 months+ contract


Security Clearance: Individuals must consent & be eligible to achieve BPSS (Basic Check) and SC level Security Clearance checks

A 12 month rolling contract position has become available for an experienced order analyst, provisioning coordinator, order manager, sales support or project administrator to join an international telecoms service provider to help deliver the best possible service experience for enterprise customers throughout the order delivery cycle, working as a Change Management, Provisioning Administrator and Order Manager.


The Order & Provisioning analyst will be responsible for acknowledging and validating customer requests, raising orders through the customer order provisioning system and BT ECO / Openreach. You will send acknowledgement and acceptance emails for order requests, generate tracking references and provide update to the customer and internal business partners on status and progress.


As part of the enablement team you will be the coordinator responsible for collaborating with the Delivery Managers to ensure work is distributed correctly against the department resources. You will provide a daily order tracker for all Data & Voice teams so that engineering resource can be effectively scheduled in advance of the order and is communicated to the supporting delivery agencies.



  • Dedicated management of the order queue across all Data & Voice teams


  • Coordinating between delivery teams to schedule orders and changes


  • Ensuring that partners have received confirmation of resource within SLAs


  • Raising customer orders on the provisioning order management system


  • Communicating updates and progress reports with customers


  • Coordination between delivery teams to schedule orders


  • Supporting the delivery and completion of the departments quality assurance targets


  • Supporting the IP Data Provisioning Managers in resource and order planning


  • Provide administrative support to the engineering teams in the provision of voice and data products including ADSL, Ethernet, Leased Lines, Managed Services and IPVPN, WAN, MPLS etc


  • Coordination, prioritisation and management of all received critical issues


  • Active queue management for all Data & Voice teams across multiple systems


Candidate Profile: 

The ideal candidate will have had some project coordination, office administration or office support experience. You can come from a variety of backgrounds however you attributes are likely to include some or all of the following:


  • Graduate calibre with a basic knowledge of office support & administration skills


  • Basic understanding of the delivery mechanisms for fixed-line telecommunications


  • Proficient in MS-Office suite


  • Good proactive communication skills and excellent documentation drafting competences


  • Customer and service focus


  • Understanding of the delivery mechanisms for fixed-line telecommunications


  • Stakeholder and customer relationship management


  • Ownership & delivery


  • Networking and influencing skills


  • Commercial Acumen


  • It is essential for the successful individual to consent to BPSS (Basic Check) and SC level security clearance checks.
