A rare and exciting career opportunity for an experienced Data, Pricing and Retail and Sales Analyst to join a market leader in the entertainment, music, broadcasting & record label industries. You will take ownership of effectively managing and developing the direct to retail accounts. YOU WILL BE TASKED WITH:
# Supporting the Supply Chain Manager with growing new opportunities through vendor managed inventory and non VMI partnerships
# On-boarding new vendor managed partners onto the partner platform
# Handling existing partners on the platform
# Reviewing daily sales data, conducting analysis and generating reports on agreed inventory levels
# Creating and handling master pricing data for customers, stores and items
# Setting up and ensuring new releases / campaigns / promotions items are maintained within the system to reflect retail customer and client’s requirements
# Planning and forecasting sales, including set up and application of seasonal and decay curves, to ensure maximum growth is achieved with the minimum of returns, to maintain optimum in-store inventory levels
# Assisting in Range and Demand Planning
# Providing both retailer and internal sales teams with meaningful account analysis information to aid business growth and category development
# Liaising with retail marketing team to ensure accurate product placement and compliance of any marketing activity
# Maintaining weekly delivery critical metrics reports and liaising with distributor to ensure all outstanding deliveries are accounted for
# Supporting customers on strategic initiatives; and any reasonable request in handling the customer’s operations.
We are searching for someone with retail experience ideally within the UK entertainment, music, TV, film or FMCG sectors.
You should have experience in forecasting, data analysis and reporting and have knowledge of data processing tools including Excel. Anyone with knowledge of pricing, invoicing and consignment practices within these sectors would be helpful.
